Orsino and two other suitors pursue the love of Olivia; but Olivia is in love with Cesario, who is actually Viola in disguise, herself in love with Orsino. When Viola's long-lost twin brother shows up on the scene, the confusion becomes uproarious. As live musicians underscore this fast-paced tale, Orsino proclaims, "If music be the food of love, play on!"
