Before "Law and Order" and the "Daily Show," the Federal Theatre Project was ripping material straight from the headlines to craft their unique brand of entertainment. One-Third of a Nation is a Living Newspaper about poverty, housing, and the struggle for the American Dream. Created originally with the headlines of the 1930s, and with added material from the here and now, this show reminds us of the importance of home.
